No. 10-ranked volleyball dominates Macalester
St. Thomas volleyball continued MIAC dominance at home Wednesday night. The N0. 10-ranked Tommies (16-4 overall, 5-0 MIAC) cruised to a win in straight sets over Macalester (6-10, 0-4) at Concordia’s Gangelhoff Center.

AFROTC freshman class largest in recent years
The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) program is seeing a dramatic increase in numbers over the last four years. Cadet Paul Kolars, AFROTC wing commander, said this year’s freshman class is the largest class size he has seen.
St. Thomas’ program isn’t alone as the other 273 ROTC programs across the country have also seen an increasing trend in numbers.
Volleyball just doesn’t lose in the MIAC
The St. Thomas volleyball team is riding a 34-game winning streak in the MIAC conference. The women haven’t lost to a MIAC foe since 2007.
St. Thomas cruises over Gustavus to remain undefeated
Slow start but football tops Gustavus 45-12
Ben Wartman’s four touchdowns helped St. Thomas top Gustavus 45-12 Saturday afternoon at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. The win moved the Tommies to 4-0 on the season.

New physical education courses keep students ‘on their toes’
Physical education used to be a mandatory zero-credit course, but St. Thomas has revised the program by offering it as an optional two-credit course that students can pay for.
