South Campus’ new student lab

The University of St. Thomas introduced a new student-oriented lab Sept. 20 in the Facilities and Design Center on South Campus. The lab has three main rooms, a 3D printing center, a laser engraver and a small kitchenette with a fridge, sink and vending machines.

Dougherty Family College receives $6.5 million donation

St. Thomas’ Dougherty Family College received a $6.5 million donation in September from Richard Sterbens and Marty Ryan to help create an endowment to support graduates of the college. The donation will provide full-tuition scholarships to those who wish to complete their bachelor’s degree at St. Thomas.
