While most college students are still sound asleep, St. Thomas first-year Hazel Erickson is wasting no time in her pursuit of a tough profession: politics. She wakes up early two or three days a week and heads to downtown St. Paul before her classes as an intern for Minnesota Public Interest Research Group.

Emory sweeps swimming and diving championships

The St. Thomas men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams participated in the national championship last week, both placing below the Emory University men and women, who swept the competition in Shenandoah, Texas, becoming the second institution in Division III history to accomplish the feat.

St. Thomas thespians join St. Kate’s for theater program

Since St. Thomas has been without a theater program for about seven years, performers on campus head down the street to St. Catherine’s University to participate in its plays and musicals. Chief video editor Lydia Lockwood spoke with some St. Thomas thespians about the possibility of restarting a campus theater program.
