Last week junior justice and peace studies major Felicia Beltran traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with Jeff Lomonaco, a foreign policy adviser for Sen. Al Franken, to speak about current social issues in Colombia. Beltran was acting as a delegate for Witness for Peace (WFP).

When 250 St. Thomas students RSVPed to the “Kony 2012 Cover The Night” event, organizers were anticipating a large turnout, but the number of participants on Friday night were less than expected.

Senior Christina Weiberg was the first student to receive the Sister Pat Kowalski Leadership award on Thursday, April 19, at the University Advocates for Women and Equity spring reception in McNeeley Hall.
Freshman takes robotics to new heights

The number of science majors has quadrupled since the opening of the Frey Science and Engineering Center. Additional students and faculty require more space than it provides.

Tom Cronin wins 2012 Monsignor James Lavin Award
Class of 1964 St. Thomas alumnus Tom Cronin said when he found out he would receive the 2012 Monsignor James Lavin Award, he didn’t know much about it.
