University will use ESPN press box to advertise at Target Field

Doug Hennes, vice president for university and government relations, said the funding for the press box is part of “marketing communications,” which involves different forms of St. Thomas advertising.

St. Thomas won’t switch to Gmail anytime soon

St. Thomas has decided the advantages of switching campus email to Gmail are not significant enough to warrant a change from its current Outlook Web Access system.

USG swears in 2011-12 executive board and council

Greg Scharine, the new USG president, was sworn in by former USG president Dwight Anderson. Scharine then swore in the new executive board and council members.

Homeless for a night: Students sleep ‘for a solution’ in Lower Quad

Christian Student Leaders, Volunteers-In-Action and St. Thomas Activities and Recreation hosted the event, which sent students to sites across the Twin Cities to volunteer for the day.

Dance Club show raises money for Children’s Hospital in St. Paul

Scharine voted 2011-12 USG president

Greg Scharine has been named the Undergraduate Student Government president for the 2011-2012 school year. Beating last year’s record of 948 total votes, 1,245 students participated in this year’s election.
