Next year’s freshman class could be largest ever
St. Thomas has more confirmed deposits for next year’s freshman class than ever before.
For the 2010-2011 school year, 1,493 students have put down their class deposits to be Tommies. At this time last year, St. Thomas had 1,337 deposits.
Nearly 1,300 pledge in Special Olympics campaign
Nearly 1,300 students, 1,248 to be precise, pledged to stop using the word “retard” or “retarded” last week as part of the Special Olympics’ national “Spread the Word to End the Word” campaign.

The Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex is still 4 months away from opening, but TommieMedia was given a second guided tour to check up on its progress.
