Jackson is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is an apartment coordinator in Morrison Hall, an Orientation and Registration leader and the feminist community co-facilitator at the Luann Dummer Center for Women.

She was awarded the Dease scholarship through Student Diversity and Inclusion services for her leadership qualities and dedication to giving back to the community. Jackson has participated in bettering the St. Thomas community by working with the Dean of Students Office to rewrite some of the sexual misconduct policy.

Jackson said her greatest achievement at St. Thomas was deciding to become an active student leader on campus to help make St. Thomas a better place for future students. Her favorite memory at St. Thomas is working with the orientation leaders during the summer of 2015.

Jackson has competed in gymnastics for 17 years and traveled all of the United States to compete, a fact most people wouldn’t know about her.

She is passionate about television and film and enjoys watching movies and shows in her free time to learn as much as possible about them. In the future, Jackson wants to be a screenwriter for television and film.
