Sauro is from St. Paul, Minnesota. He has been involved on campus as the president of the Table Top Gaming Club, an orientation leader, office lead in Off-Campus Student Services and a first year commuter advisor.

His greatest achievement at St. Thomas has been contributing to the Table Top Gaming Club, which tripled in size while he was club president. Sauro enjoys playing board games for entertainment but finds real joy in connecting with others while playing games.

An interesting fact about Sauro is that he is a first generation college student. He said he is thrilled to have nearly accomplished this milestone.

His favorite memories from college have been working with student leaders at St. Thomas and using those positions to bring out the talents of students who may have otherwise gone unnoticed.

Sauro said it has been a gift to work with students at St. Thomas. After graduation, he wants to continue working with student affairs.
