Augsburg student struck and killed in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Minneapolis police say officers have located a suspect in the hit-and-run death of a young college student.

Authorities say the suspect’s vehicle has also been found.

Twenty-year-old Austin Conley was struck and killed in downtown Minneapolis about 3 a.m. Saturday. Family members say Conley was a freshman at Augsburg College.

Conley’s 21-year-old sister, Alissa, says her brother was a deeply caring person who never judged others and was a working student who held a job at Seven Sushi in downtown Minneapolis.
