Wisconsin-Oshkosh held off a St. Thomas rally in the second half and got a 37-yard field goal from Eli Wettstein with 2:30 remaining to eliminate the Tommies from the NCAA Division III football playoffs.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh defensive back Johnny Eagan intercepted two passes from St. Thomas quarterback Alex Fenske, and the Titans forced three more turnovers in the first half Saturday to forge a 24-10 lead over the Tommies.

Unlikely hero powers Tommies to Final Four

Forward Tony Kuplic has scored five goals in four games so far in the NCAA tournament, including two game winners. Prior to the playoffs, he had never scored a goal for St. Thomas and had only appeared in eight career games.
