Tommie the mascot and a few brave souls withstood freezing temperatures Friday morning to see the Tommie football team head to the airport to make the trip to Oregon.

For the first time since 1990, the football team is in the NCAA playoffs and this year’s squad has a chance to advance from the round of eight teams to the final four if the Tommies can squeeze out a win Saturday against Linfield in McMinnville, Ore.
