First-year forward Kyler Grundy scored five minutes into the game to give St. Thomas a 1-0 lead, but Bemidji State University responded with six goals during the game to give them a 6-1 win Saturday at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights.
The St. Thomas women’s hockey team couldn’t find the back of the net in a 3-0 losing effort to Bemidji State University, taking 31 shots on goal to Bemidji’s 33 during their home opener Friday night at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights.
The St. Thomas Rugby Club defeated Bemidji State 54-0 at home Saturday.
