Tommies take down Valparaiso 20-13 in homecoming game

A pair of touchdowns from senior running back Tom Loeffler and a late interception by senior wide receiver Isaiah Hall helped the Tommies to a 20-13 win over Valparaiso in their first Division I homecoming game Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.

Senior quarterback Cade Sexauer threw two touchdown passes, senior running back Tom Loeffler ran for two more scores and St. Thomas forced two turnovers in its 36-0 rout of Pioneer League foe Butler on Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. Cam Kauffman and Nate Schneiderhan have the story.

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa– Sophomore kicker Louis Hyde put St. Thomas on the board with a 35-yard field goal with 1:50 left in the first half as Northern Iowa took a 17-3 halftime lead over the Tommies Saturday at the UNI-Dome.
