AP: Big Ten changes course, will play fall football after all
Less than five weeks after pushing football and other fall sports to spring in the name of player safety during the pandemic, the Big Ten changed course Wednesday and said it plans to begin its season the Oct. 23-24 weekend. Each team will have an eight-game schedule.
St. Thomas cancels J-Term study abroad programs
St. Thomas canceled January Term study abroad programs for 2021 as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the Office of Study Abroad announced Monday.

At St. Olaf College, an off-campus party has forced 50 students to quarantine and suspended 17 students for the fall semester, St. Olaf President David Anderson wrote in a message to students Thursday. The party was attended by a large group of students before moving into campus housing.

St. Thomas undergraduates required to sign “Common Good Commitment” before returning to campus
St. Thomas is requiring all undergraduate students living, working or attending classes on campus to electronically sign the “Common Good Commitment,” before returning for fall 2020, according to an email sent by university President Julie Sullivan Tuesday evening.
