St. Thomas football wins PFL outright, beats Butler 27-13

INDIANAPOLIS – Senior quarterback Cade Sexauer ran in two touchdowns in the St. Thomas football team’s 27-13 road win over Butler Saturday, securing the Tommies’ outright win of the Pioneer Football League title. Cam Kauffman has the story.

A 32-yard field goal from sophomore kicker Louis Hyde with 59 seconds left sent St. Thomas to a stirring 12-9 win over Michigan Tech in the team’s Division I debut on Saturday at Kearly Stadium in Houghton, Mich. Olivia Paradise and Cam Kauffman have the story.
