Tommies men’s hockey lose 5-0 to No. 3 Mankato

After a 9-0 loss at Mankato Thursday, the St. Thomas men’s hockey team couldn’t quite get the win under their belt Saturday. The Tommies lost 5-0 to No. 3-ranked Minnesota State University-Mankato before a sold out crowd at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights.

The St. Thomas football team defeated Drake University 21-14 Saturday, St. Thomas men and women’s swim and dive teams both placed last against St. Cloud State University and Minnesota State University-Mankato, the St. Thomas women’s volleyball team lost in three sets to Oral Roberts in Tulsa and the St. Thomas women’s basketball team lost its home opener to Illinois State 70-55 on Saturday. No. 2 Ohio State crush Tommie women’s hockey 8-1

Junior forward Luci Bianci scored the lone goal for the St. Thomas women’s hockey team as the Tommies were unable to catch up with No. 2 ranked Ohio State University’s eight goals, ending the program’s 600th overall game in an 8-1 loss Friday night at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights.
