Storm causes power outage for St. Thomas campus buildings, surrounding areas

A late night thunderstorm caused a power outage on the St. Thomas campus early Friday morning, leaving Flynn and Morrison halls and a number of other St. Thomas-affiliated buildings on Grand, Finn and Summit avenues without electricity, according to an email from the St. Thomas Innovation and Technology Services Tech Desk.

The St. Thomas men’s soccer team (0-5-0) suffered their fifth straight loss of the season after a goal 36 minutes into the first half by Drake (3-1-0). Senior forward Bradan Allen punched in the lone goal to win the physical match.
