A stolen snowblower and more in this week’s public safety briefs

On Jan. 24 at 4:17 p.m. Public Safety documented a theft in Aquinas Hall. A St. Thomas employee reported a set of speakers had been stolen.

On Jan. 25 at 4:02 a.m. Public Safety documented a theft in Minneapolis School of Law. An unidentified suspect stole a snow blower from a non-St. Thomas affiliated victim’s vehicle.

On Jan. 27 at 12:25 a.m. Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation in Dowling Residence Hall. One underage St. Thomas student accompanied by a non-St. Thomas affiliated student was found to have consumed alcohol.

On Jan. 27 at 5:06 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Minneapolis Opus Hall. Four juvenile suspects were reported to be smoking marijuana in a restroom.

On Jan. 27 at 6:15 p.m. Public Safety documented an aggravated robbery on Nicollet Mall. The Minneapolis Police Department reported one non-St. Thomas affiliated suspect was arrested.

On Jan. 28 at 2:01 a.m. Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation in Ireland Residence Hall. Three St. Thomas students were found to have consumed alcohol. One St. Thomas student also possessed alcohol.

On Jan. 28 at 2:21 a.m. Public Safety and the Saint Paul Fire Department Medics responded to an intoxicated non-St. Thomas individual. The individual was transported to a local hospital for further medical attention.
