More St. Thomas men studying abroad despite national trend

Despite a Chronicle of Higher Education article reporting that women are more likely to study abroad than men, St. Thomas’ study abroad program has seen an increase in male participants over the last three years.

English department changes core curriculum

Interracial couples overcome challenges, acceptance on the rise

St. Thomas graduate Jeff Sevaldson and senior Joey Nesbitt started their own business last year called iW Drums, which creates affordable  LED light kits that can be installed inside a drum set.

Mild winter saves university money

A study published by The Huffington Post states that teenagers and young adults prefer checking email on mobile phones over checking it on the Internet, a trend that some St. Thomas students said they agreed with.

Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite

Two St. Thomas students, one who lived on campus and one who lives off campus, have had problems with bed bugs. However, Director of Residence Life Aaron Macke said it has not been an issue at the university.

Eating disorder recovery group created for students
