Over past the past three Januaries, Saint Paul Police Department crime maps show an increase in residential break-ins around St. Thomas. 

No plans for on-campus veteran’s center

The St. Thomas Veterans’ Association has been lobbying for an on-campus veteran’s center for more than a year. However, Director of Student Engagement Vern Klobassa said the university does not have any plans to create one.

Reconstruction in Murray-Herrick poses temporary inconvenience for students

Construction is underway in the Murray-Herrick Campus Center, forcing some students to make changes to their everyday routines. The renovations are expected to be done in June.

Double Map Technology will allow students to track university shuttles

Undergraduate Student Government is working with a company called Double Map Technology to develop a tool that will allow students to track St. Thomas’ inter-campus shuttles through GPS on their smartphones or computers.

Engineering group’s hard work not enough to win national competition

Senior engineering major John Albers spent months working with three other St. Thomas  students  developing a tool to dry breadfruit for the Peace Engineering: Breadfruit Drier Contest. However, Albers‘ group’s hard work did not pay off.
