Football team prepares for Saturday’s spring game
The football team’s intrasquad scrimmage is open to the public Saturday and will be at 1 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. Coach Glenn Caruso said he’s been pleased with his team’s progress so far this spring and is looking forward to Saturday.

St. Thomas meets Coe College in NCAA softball regionals
The St. Thomas softball team, fresh off its victory in the MIAC tournament, will meet Coe (Iowa) College on Friday, May 11, in the first round of the NCAA regional tournament in Pella, Iowa.
Tommie Spotlight: Mike Hutton
Senior Mike Hutton is the All-American captain of the St. Thomas track and field team. In March, Hutton won the Division III national title in the indoor 800-meter run.

The St. Thomas women’s track and field’s 4-x-100 meter relay team hit its stride to win the event with a 47.32 at Wednesday’s Tommie Twilight meet in O’Shaughnessy Stadium.

Junior outfielder Andy Henkemeyer’s grand slam in the seventh inning solidified the Minnesota Gophers baseball team’s 9-2 victory over No. 2-ranked St. Thomas Tuesday at Siebert Field.
