St. Thomas College of Arts and Sciences Dean Terry Langan announced Tuesday that this will be his last year in that office.

In an email to all faculty and staff in the college, Langan said that he would be returning to the Department of Economics as a faculty member.

Langan was named dean in January 2012 after serving as interim dean since June of the previous year. He replaced Marisa Kelly in that role. Langan was associate dean for six years and taught in the economics department full time for about 15 years before that.

Langan’s office declined TommieMedia’s request for an interview.
