Neighbor complaints, stolen headphones and more in this week’s public safety briefs

On April 25 at 11:17 a.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity at the Morrison Public Safety office. A caller who would not identify himself called to complain about unauthorized use of handicap parking spaces on campus.

On April 26 at 9:58 a.m. Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Summit and Cretin avenues. A St. Thomas student and a non-affiliated party were involved in the accident.

On April 26 at 11:09 a.m. Public Safety reported a policy violation. A St. Thomas student was found in possession of counterfeited permit.

On April 26 at 10:41 p.m. Public Safety documented a theft from the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. A St. Thomas student reported their headphones were stolen from their bag.

On April 27 at 10:55 p.m. Public Safety documented a liquor law violation in Brady Residence Hall. One underage St. Thomas student was found intoxicated and in possession of alcohol.

On April 28 at 12:33 p.m. Public Safety responded to a neighbor complaint on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue.

On April 28 at 6:15 p.m. Public Safety responded to a neighborhood complaint near Selby and Cleveland Avenues. A St. Thomas neighbor reported a vehicle was blocking traffic due to mechanical issues.

On April 28 at 11:34 p.m. Public Safety assisted the St. Paul Police Department with a noise complaint on the 1900 block of Selby Avenue.

On April 30 at 2:29 a.m. Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a liquor law violation in Brady Residence Hall. Ten underage St. Thomas student were under the influence of alcohol.
