Ukrainian officials say the Russian military has hit a strategic bridge linking the southern Odessa region with neighboring Romania on Tuesday. The head of the state-run Ukrainian railway said there were no injuries.

The strike follows a series of attacks Russia unleashed on key railway facilities in Ukraine on Monday. It has cut off the railway connection to the areas of the Odessa region west of the Estuary and Romania.

A Minnesota judge ruled Tuesday that the trial of three fired Minneapolis police officers charged with aiding and abetting George Floyd’s killing will not be live streamed. The trial is set to begin with motions on June 13.

Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill said he expects the evidence phase to take four or five weeks, meaning the trial could last into early August.

Tentative plans are in place to rebrand and reopen Scooter’s on August 21. Interim executive director of dining services Stephen Griffin also confirmed that Stacks, the coffee shop located in the O’Shaughnessy-Frey library, will be reopening and returning to its pre-pandemic normal in the fall.
