The jury in the federal hate crimes trial of the three white men convicted in Ahmaud Arbery’s killing has reached a verdict.

Jurors indicated they had a decision Tuesday on whether father and son Greg and Travis McMichael and neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan violated Arbery’s civil rights and targeted him because he was black.

Judge Lisa Godbey Wood said the verdict will be read at ten thirty am tuesday.

A powerful winter storm with heavy snow and ice has created dangerous travel conditions, closed various schools, and caused a chain reaction accident that injured at least six people in the Upper Midwest.

In Minnesota, snow continued to fall following Monday’s totals ranging from thirteen inches in the west-central region and seven inches near Duluth.

St. Thomas’s Executive Budget Committee announced during a virtual town hall Monday that the university is offering to purchase Town and Country Club golf course for sixty-one point four million dollars to expand and upgrade its athletic facilities.

The addition would double the size of the university.

The town and Country club golf course is on the corner of Marshall and Cretin avenues. It is considered the first golf course in Minnesota and it opened in 1893.
