The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments today over President Biden’s student debt relief plan, which impacts millions of borrowers who could see their loans wiped away or reduced.

The plan announced in August, would cancel $10,000 in federal student loan debt for those making less than $125,000 or households with less than $250,000 in income per year.

The death toll rose to 62 today in the migrant tragedy off Italy’s southern coast after rescue crews recovered three more bodies, highlighting again, the desperate and dangerous boat crossings of people seeking to reach Europe.

Dozens more were believed to be missing.

The U.N. and Doctors Without Borders, which had crews on the scene, said many of the victims were Afghans, including members of large families, as well as Pakistanis and Iraqis.

Two men were killed and three other people were injured in a second shooting outside a funeral in St. Paul this weekend.

Saturday’s shooting came one day after three teens were shot and injured at a funeral reception for a Harding High School student who had been fatally stabbed at school two weeks earlier.

Police said there was no evidence the two weekend shootings were connected, and No arrests had been made as of Sunday morning.
