Arizona has considered allowing cameras extended care facility rooms after a woman was raped unconscious and later gave birth in phoenix. Cameras in patients’ rooms has been a controversial topic due to infringing on patient privacy. Many families have asked for the implementation of cameras to ensure the safety of their loved ones, regardless of privacy. Ten other states in the us currently have monitoring cameras as an option for residents in extended care facilities.

Cindy Mccain apologized after claiming she prevented sex trafficking from occurring friday. mccain saw a toddler with a woman of a different ethnicity and immediately informed the police of her suspicions in phoenix. After investigation, there was no evidence that anything was wrong with the situation. The conversation has moved to discussing how to be vigilant in these situations of child sex trafficking without triggering racial bias concerns. Parents, relatives and nannies of different ethnicities than the children run the risk of being accused of wrongdoing.

Lastly, a winter storm is wreaking havoc across the midwest, forcing roads and schools to close. Highway patrol warned against driving in western minnesota and north dakota due to road conditions and low visibility. Fargo received a foot of snow and western minnesota with about 11 inches. the city of st paul declared a snow emergency yesterday to allow plows to get through the streets.
