The Minnesota house voted to expand the state’s indoor vaping ban to restaurants and workspaces Thursday. Under the Minnesota Clean Air Act, the bill would prohibit the use of e-cigarettes in spaces where tobacco is currently banned.

The proposal aimed to reverse the growing popularity of e-cigarettes among younger generations.

Butterball LLC issued a recall of more than 78 thousand pounds of raw ground turkey products nationwide Thursday. Minnesota health officials are investigating four salmonella cases in the state.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service says the pre-packaged ground turkey was produced in July of 2018. The agency is worried consumers may still have the turkey in their freezers.

St. Thomas opened a new video production studio for students on the third floor of the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library. It will be used for students making videos for their courses and for students studying American Sign Language. Click here to check out the full story.
