President Donald Trump signed an $8.3 billion bill in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. The bill will provide public health agencies with test kits, vaccines and medical treatment.

Minnesota high school graduation rates have reached a historic high. Data from the State Department of Education shows a graduation rate of 83.7 percent for the Class of 2019. This number went up half a percentage point from last year and almost one and a half points more since 2015.

Minnesota Public Radio News reports Black and Hispanic students had the biggest gains, with more than three percentage points for Hispanics and more than two points for Black students.

WCCO TV reports that two students of the University of Minnesota will self-quarantine for 14 days after returning from Europe this past Tuesday. Though they did not have any symptoms, both students came into contact with a coronavirus-positive passenger before departing.

The St. Thomas Application Development and Cloud team has recently launched an app for students. The app, designed by the marketing department, is currently available for iOS users, and will be available for Android users within the next month. This app allows students to check dining menus, club events and link to the canvas site, among other features.
