Donald Trump’s impeachment hearing begins today. The Democratic chairman of the House intelligence committee, Adam Schiff, began by outlining the question at the core of the inquiry: whether the president used his office to pressure ukraine officials for personal political gain. The hearing is the first chance for people to consider whether the president’s actions were impeachable.

More than half of Minnesota’s lakes, rivers and streams do not meet state pollution standards. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency added 581 waterways to a list of impaired waters, bringing the total to 56% of the state’s total waters. About one-third of the waterways are impaired for recreational use due to high bacteria in streams and phosphorus in lakes, among other problems. According to the minnesota pollution control agency website, the list includes lakes Como, Phalen, Nokomis and Hiawatha, among others.

Dr. Dish, a basketball machine, has arrived at St. Thomas. It allows students to practice shooting without teammates as rebounders. Tommie basketball players can track their progress and complete customizable workouts. According to sophomore Gabby Cadle, an upward trend has begun as the players are all hitting 55 to 60 %.
