Hostage negotiations with Hamas and Israel are likely to reach terms, as senior Hamas officials have stated.

The agreement in question would have Hamas release hostages in turn for Israel to release its Palestinian prisoners. Mediations with Israel, the United States and Qatar between Hamas have been ongoing, however, predictions of agreements from weeks prior have fallen through.

Taylor Swift’s tour in Rio ends on a sour note, with deaths, muggings, and heatwaves all being reported. Two fans have died during the tour, one due to illness and the other due to stabbing.

While fans waited for the show on Friday, temperatures soared to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, leading concertgoers to complain about heat and lack of water access.
