President Trump says America is “locked and loaded” in response to a drone assault on Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure. The President’s aides blamed Iran for the attack, and U.S. officials offered proof that the strike came from the Iranian capitol, Tehran.

The attack caused a spike in the price of crude oil and halved the production of oil in Saudi Arabia. Trump authorized the usage of US oil reserves to stabilize the market if deemed necessary.

Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has released her anti-government corruption plan which she plans to have at the core of her campaign.

The plan would ban lobbyists from many fundraising events and serving as political campaign, tighten limits on politicians accepting gifts or payment for government actions and bar senior officials and members of Congress from serving on for-profit boards.

In Maine, a nonprofit was destroyed by a gas explosion which killed a firefighter and injured six others.
