St. Thomas Public Safety, St. Paul police, fire and EMT responded to a man who appeared to be in distress outside O’Shaughnessy Educational Center Friday morning.

It is unclear whether the person was affiliated with the university; however, he was wearing St. Thomas clothing.

TommieMedia staff members witnessed the person throwing objects, rubbing dirt on his head and failing to comply with officials. He was heard demanding a lawyer.

He was eventually taken away by ambulance to a hospital, according to a Public Safety officer. No other information was available at time of publication.
