The University of St. Thomas was struck by a snowstorm on Feb. 22 and 23, pushing classes online and closing some on-campus venues.

While dining halls remained open, other locations — such as Disability Resources and The Center for Well-Being — had to go completely virtual. The libraries also remained closed.

Athletics events ran as scheduled. The weekly Free Tea Thursdays event, held at the John Roach Center Greenhouse, was canceled due to the snowstorm.

The snowfall did not stop Ash Wednesday services, which were held at the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas at 7 a.m., 12:10 p.m and 5:05 p.m.

The National Weather Service stated in a tweet that the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport recorded a total of 13.1 inches of snow since Tuesday.

Public Safety said in an email Wednesday that any cancelations for Feb. 24 will be announced by 6 a.m. Friday.
