Public Safety briefs

On April 21, 2013 at 2:39 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation outside of Koch Commons. An underage intoxicated St. Thomas student was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.

On April 21, 2013 at 4:10 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an odor of marijuana in Ireland Residence Hall. The odor was determined to be coming from the residence of two St. Thomas students.

On April 21, 2013 at 5:49 p.m., Public Safety assisted a St. Thomas parent with a welfare check in Brady Residence Hall. The parent’s student, who the parent had been trying to contact, was located in his residence and was OK.  PublicSafety_Briefs_PHOTO

On April 22, 2013 at 9:48 p.m.,Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Dowling Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student who was not feeling well was taken by a parent to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On April 24, 2013 at 8:15 a.m., Public Safety documented a medical in Lot G. A St. Thomas employee reported they slipped and fell on ice in the lot, injuring their elbow and hip, but required no medical attention.

On April 24, 2013 at 3:15 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Anderson Athletic and Recreation Center. A St. Thomas student who injured his ankle playing basketball was transported to an area hospital for further medical attention.

On April 25, 2013 at 2:14 p.m., Public Safety documented a noise complaint on the South Athletic Field. A St. Thomas neighbor reported music from the field was being played at an excessive level.

On April 26, 2013 at 1:46 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a liquor law violation in Ireland Residence Hall. Two underage guests of a St. Thomas student found to have consumed alcohol were sent home with a sober caregiver.

On April 26, 2013 at 8:00 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in John Roach Center. A St. Thomas employee reported her wallet was stolen from her unsecured office and her credit card was used to make unauthorized purchases at off-campus retail locations.

On April 26, 2013 at 2:54 p.m., Public Safety responded to a neighbor complaint on the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. A St. Thomas table was recovered from the yard of two students’ off-campus residence.

On April 27, 2013 at 4:25 a.m., Public Safety responded to theft from motor vehicle in Lot A. An underage St. Thomas student was found to have consumed alcohol and was in possession of an iPod he admitted taking from an unsecured vehicle.

On April 27, 2013 at 8:57 p.m., Public Safety responded to a motor vehicle accident in Lot A. A St. Thomas student’s vehicle, that had not been placed in park, rolled into another parked vehicle, causing minor damage to both vehicles.

On April 28, 2013 at 9:52 a.m., Public Safety documented a neighbor complaint on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A St. Thomas neighbor reported there was a large amount of broken glass and garbage outside of a residence on the block.
