Public Safety briefs

On June 21 at 1:43 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue. A UST neighbor reported two pieces of lawn furniture were stolen from their property.

On June 21 at 4:12 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST student in LOT V. The student’s vehicle, initially found slightly submerged in water due to heavy rainfall, was later moved and was determined to have no apparent damage.

On June 21 at 5:24 p.m., a Residence Life employee reported an odor of marijuana in Morrison Hall. Public Safety found the odor to have originated in a room occupied by three UST guests.

On June 22 at 2:05 p.m., a UST employee reported a disturbance in Minneapolis Opus Hall. A non-UST affiliated individual, reported to have interrupted the employee’s class, was escorted out of MOH by officers and left the area.

On June 22 at 4:16 p.m., a UST employee reported vehicle damage in Morrison R2 Ramp. The employee’s rear window was struck by an object while driving to campus, shattering the window.

On June 23 at 1:55 a.m., a UST student reported a suspicious incident on the 1900 block of Ashland Avenue. An object the student’s window, but no suspects could be found upon Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department’s search of the area.

On June 23 at 12:06 p.m., a UST employee reported a suspicious incident in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. A UST laptop was reported missing from a lower level OEC office.

On June 23 at 5:45 p.m., a UST student reported vehicle damage on the 2200 block of Summit Avenue. The front passenger window of the student’s parked vehicle was smashed, but no property was taken.

On June 24 at 8:21 a.m., UST guests reported a burglary in John Paul II Residence Hall. Six guests reported that cash was stolen from their unsecured rooms.

On June 24 at 4:30 p.m., a UST student reported a theft from vehicle on the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. Several pieces of personal property were stolen from the student’s vehicle.

On June 24 at 11:45 p.m., a UST student reported a suspicious incident in Murray Residence Hall. A series of suspicious calls reported by the student were later determined to be a prank by a relative.

On June 25 at 7:52 a.m., Public Safety reported damage at the McNeely Hall ramp exit gate. An unidentified individual was determined through investigation to have intentionally bent the gate arm.

On June 25 at 6:47 p.m., A non-UST affiliated individual report a theft from vehicle at the Monument Park lot. The individual reported the front passenger window of their vehicle was smashed and several pieces of personal property were stolen.

On June 27 at 6:50 p.m., Public Safety documented a noise/party complaint on the 1800 block of Dayton Avenue. A UST neighbor reported an unidentified group of people were on the roof of a residence on the block being loud and causing a disturbance.
