St. Thomas men’s hockey team crushed Ferris State on Saturday night with a score of 7-1. The offense in this game was special as 5 players scored. Senior Mack Byers scored a record 3 goals, giving him the first hat trick in the Division 1 era.

The boys take on Minnesota State this weekend on the 8th in Mankato and the 9th back at Mendota Heights.

Our women’s hockey team fell to Minnesota State on Saturday night with a score of 3-1. Minnesota State had 50 shots on goal compared to our 21. Goalie Calla Frank finished with a season-high of 47 saves.

This weekend, the women’s team will play Bemidji on the 8th, in Bemidji, and on the 9th back at our hockey arena.

Also on Saturday night, the women’s basketball team fell to Western Illinois with a score of 82-78. 4 Tommies scored in the double digits including junior Jade Hill’s 21 points. The Tommie’s next game will be on Thursday as they travel to Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee.
