The NFL awards were given out Thursday as Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers won his fourth MVP award, his second consecutive. This is the second consecutive year Rodgers has taken home the award.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp won Offensive Player of the Year. Kupp dominated the field, leading the league in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

Shaun White ended a brilliant Olympic career with a fourth-place finish on the halfpipe. White retires with four Olympic medals, three gold.

He currently holds the record for most gold medals won by a snowboarder in the Olympics

St. Thomas Men’s Basketball lost 78-70 against the University of North Dakota Thursday. The loss extends the Tommies’ losing streak to nine games.

The Tommies will take on North Dakota State University on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Schoenecker Arena.
