The St. Thomas men’s and women’s basketball teams played St. Olaf on Wednesday, winning both matches. The men’s team won 76-69. The women’s team won 48-67. Both teams are set to play this Saturday at home in a double header for the last games of the regular season as both teams look forward to conference playoffs next week.

Tommie men’s basketball starting guard Anders Nelson received the MIAC Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week Award averaging 19 points and 3.5 rebounds keeping St. Thomas in the MIAC playoff race.

The St. Thomas women’s tennis team takes on St. Benedict tonight at 7:30 pm. Both men and women’s tennis will play Hamline University tomorrow.

Men’s hockey will play Augsburg Saturday night at home. Women’s hockey clinched a spot in conference playoffs this week and will play Augsburg tonight at the St. Thomas Ice Arena. Be sure to check TommeMedia.com after the game for the full story.
