Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.

Despite moving south to a new team and conference during a pandemic, Brady didn’t slow down at age 43. He earned his fifth Super Bowl MVP award and extended his Super Bowl titles’ record in his 10th appearance, nine with New England. Brady broke his own mark for the oldest player to win a Super Bowl and joined Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning as the only quarterback to win one with multiple franchises.

In a back-and-forth battle, the St. Thomas’ women’s basketball team, led by junior center Brynne Rolland’s 11 points, defeated Concordia-Moorhead 63-58 Saturday at Schoenecker Arena.

The first quarter ended with Concordia (0-2) taking a six-point lead over the Tommies. That lead was snuffed out in the second period as the Tommie’s gained an eight-point lead over the Cobbers.
