The St. Thomas men’s basketball team held their home opener on Friday against Idaho State. The Tommies and Bengals traded the lead nine times throughout the game with the Tommies getting their first lead, with three seconds left in the game. Forward Parker Bjorklund made both free throws to seal the win, 54-53.

On Saturday, the women’s basketball team went up against the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to score over 100 points for the first time in the Division 1 era, ending with a score of 101-62.

The Tommies saw the first 20+ point performance of the year, as Jade Hill and Amber Scalia both scored over 20 points in the victory.

Tommie Football traveled to California this weekend to play San Diego. The Tommies left the winning game in overtime with a touchdown from running back Hope Adebayo, for a final score of 20-14.
