The No. 18 St. Thomas football team defeated Carleton 63-15 Saturday at Laird Stadium.

Fifth-year senior running back Josh Parks scored four touchdowns to break St. Thomas’ career touchdown mark.

Parks tied the school record of 50 career touchdowns on his second score of the game early in the second half, and by game’s end, he had pushed that total to 52.

Junior quarterback Tommy Dolan threw for 202 yards, rushed for 62 and had no turnovers.

The Tommies are on the road again this Saturday at St. Olaf with a kickoff time of 1:10 p.m.

The No. 22 St. Thomas women’s volleyball team secured at least a tie for the MIAC championship title following their win against Hamline Saturday.

This is Tommie volleyball’s thirteenth MIAC title in the last 21 seasons.

St. Thomas has won 14 out of its last 15 games with just two regular season games remaining this week.

The Tommies need at least one win to receive a first-round bye and gain the top seed.
