2012 Tommie Award nominee: Carolyn Dienhart

Carolyn Dienhart, psychology major, business minor, 3.81 GPA   111117_dien

Dienhart is from St. Paul, Minn. She is an Aquinas scholar, Tutor Mentor, Student Athletic Advisory Council member, a captain of the varsity basketball team and an educational assistant in the psychology department. She is also involved in VISION, Psi Chi and the Young Scholars program.

Dienhart has also been a MIAC Academic All-Conference honoree twice and was awarded a Young Scholars grant twice.

Dienhart said one interesting fact about herself is that her dad was a Tommie Award recipient.

Before students graduate, Dienhart recommended they “study abroad or go on a VISION trip.”

After graduation, Dienhart said she is unsure of her plans, “but (is) most likely starting a graduate program in social psychology.”
