The St. Thomas baseball team’s four-game weekend series against St. Olaf on April 17 and 18 has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols and will not be rescheduled.

The Tommies (14-1, 9-1 MIAC) were set to take on the Oles (7-1, 0-0 MIAC) in a four-game series with two games played in Northfield on Saturday, and two at Koch Diamond on Sunday. Historically, the Tommies are 91-56 against St. Olaf College.

The Tommies had their 11-game win streak come to an end in a game against Bethel last Wednesday.

In the 2021 season the Tommies are undefeated at Koch Diamond, and have been hitting with a .308 average at home with a 1.00 ERA through seven games.

The Tommies currently lead the MIAC standings with Gustavus trailing three games behind them. Senior pitcher Andrew Tri’s 0.33 ERA is currently the best in MIAC competition.

The Tommies take on Gustavus Adolphus College on Wednesday Apr. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter.
