The women won an automatic bid with a 3-1 victory over Augsburg Nov. 3 in the MIAC championship. They face Knox College (Illinois) in the first round at Wisconsin LaCrosse. The winner of that match will face the winner of the match between Wis.-LaCrosse and Wartburg (Iowa).

The women are the only team from the MIAC to earn a spot in the national playoffs.

Men’s soccer was awarded an at-large bid despite a loss to Augsburg Oct. 30 in the opening round of the MIAC playoffs. The team will host Pacific Lutheran (Oregon) Saturday. South Field will also be the site for the Augsburg-Wisconsin Superior first-round match. The winners of both of those matches will return to South Field in the second round.

The men are one of four MIAC teams to make it to the NCAA tournament. Carleton won an automatic bid with its MIAC championship and will host a first-round match. Augsburg and Gustavus were awarded at-large bids.
