More than 7,000 St. Thomas faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students have been at least partially vaccinated according to an email from the University Action and Response team May 6. This figure, which is a 59% vaccination rate, doesn’t include community members that have been vaccinated outside of the state.

St. Thomas will hold its second round of vaccine clinics on May 14, 15 and 17 at McCarthy Gym. Community members can walk-in, but appointments are preferred.

Participants can get their first or second shot of the Pfizer vaccine.

According to the university’s COVID-19 Dashboard, more than 50% of quarantine spaces are available and the university’s contact tracing staff are able to interview 90-to-100% of positive cases reported to the university within 24 hours, over a seven-day average.

St. Thomas releases COVID-19 data every Monday, and it is available on the COVID-19 Dashboard.
