The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a three-game losing streak with a 109-104 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday.

The Timberwolves converted a season-high 16 3-pointers and the Cavaliers had 19 turnovers which resulted in 29 points for Minnesota. This was only the Timberwolves’ third victory in their last 17 games.

St. Thomas women’s hockey canceled two games this weekend due to Covid-19 protocols.
The team was scheduled to play the college of St. Benedict and Hamline university and this would have been the first game for St. Thomas women’s hockey in over 11 months.

The St. Thomas men’s hockey team defeated St. Scholastica 5-to-1 on Saturday after jumping to a quick three goal lead.

The win came despite the Tommies having almost no practice and several new players on the ice.

Saturday’s victory was their season opener and the first competition for any St. Thomas’ team since last march.
