St. Thomas Athletics Director Phil Esten extended his invitation in an email on April 14 for St. Thomas community members to join an open discussion with key athletics leaders at noon on April 22 via Zoom and to join an open panel with the commissioners of St. Thomas’ new athletic conferences at noon on May 7.

St. Thomas football plans to host Augsburg University for the teams’ first official game since the MIAC announced their approval for football teams to play up to four conference games or scrimmages in the 2021 spring season.

Men’s hockey now playing Bethel Wednesday, weekend games canceled

The St. Thomas men’s hockey team announced Monday that its home game against Gustavus Wednesday has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols, and the Tommies will instead play Bethel at Saint Thomas Ice Arena that night at 7:30 p.m. The team also said that its two games against Augsburg Friday and Saturday have been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.
