Whether it’s trick-or-treating, the pumpkin patch, or watching scary movies, everyone celebrates Halloween in their own way; however this season’s festivities look a bit different from years past. St. Thomas students are looking forward to enjoying the Halloween weekend.
The Career Development Center opened a new space in the beginning of August on the first floor of Murray-Herrick Campus Center for students with career exploration questions, and also expanding to include alumni and employer engagement.
After campus closed due to COVID-19, the St. Thomas admissions office have found innovative ways to recruit students and provide them with the St. Thomas admissions experience. Reporter Leila Weah has the story.
St. Thomas is home to many different works of art, from the Multicultural celebration mural in Murray-Herrick hall to a 112-foot long fresco on the ceiling of Terrence Murphy Hall in downtown Minneapolis.
The common area on the first floor of Murray-Herrick Campus was recently renamed the Center for Student Achievement. The center includes updated technologies, as well as Information Technology support and academic resources for students.
An intoxicated student sleeping in the entryway to Murray-Herrick, a student setting off the Flynn fire alarm with an e-cigarette, and an employee receiving a head injury after slipping in standing water are all part of this week’s Public Safety briefs.
